Musical Project

Over the next few weeks, your group will be responsible for completing the following projects using the musical that you have selected. The grade for the paper, presentation and performance will be a group grade. The final 25 points will be based on your individual participation in the project.

______ Paper (4 pages / 1 page per student) 25 PTS

*Each person will be responsible for writing one page (typed and double spaced with a 12 or 14 font size).

*Each person will answer the questions provided to them for their portion of the paper. (please see handout for specific questions)

*The paper will be combined and handed in before the final presentation.

______ Presentation (power point, poster, tell story in character, etcŠ) 25 PTS

*The presentation will be graded on the creativity and accurate description of the story. Please feel free to come up with your own way to present your musical to the class. BE CREATIVE!

______ Performance of a song from the musical with staging 25 PTS

*Your group will present one song to the class from the musical you¹ve selected. Please make sure that it includes either movement or a setting of the scene. Please ask if you have any questions about this!

______Participation 25 PTS

*Each person is expected to actively participate in their group. You will be evaluated individually by both your group and instructors to receive a final grade. These are the basic guidelines that you will be graded on.
