On Tuesday, October 9, 2007, Team A under the direction of their teachers, Mr. Jeff Payne, Mr. Greg Megrue, Mr. Troy Hassebroek and Mrs. Nancy Coniglio took Team A to the Nebraska State Historical Museum in downtown Lincoln.

Team A earned the outing by submitting 86% of projects, homework and educational assignments being turned in on time. Mr. Hassebroek said, “The tour was made available to students from the office of Karen Stanley, LPS History Curriculum Specialist. It was called, Win A Bus. The trip could be planned to include any site as long as one stop was the museum.” It was a team decision to merge reward and opportunity.

Students viewed the Native American Exhibit, the WWII Exhibit, and two smaller exhibits Made in Nebraska and the Quilting Exhibit. Following the tours, students ate lunch on Centennial Mall.
