Making Room For Daddy Essay Contest!

In collaboration with the Nebraska PTA and the Nebraska Children's and Families Foundation is sponsoring the 3rd Annual statewide essay contest to call attention to the importance of fathers or any important male role model in a child’s life.
The theme is “I Believe My Dad Is Great Because...”
Essay may be prose or poetry, not to exceed 250 words and may be written about any male figure in a child’s life.

Due date: Friday, May 9th, 2008

Young Poets Contest

Any student in grade 1 through grade 12.

Submit your own original poem (one only) on one sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 white paper. Entries must be neat and easy to read....do NOT decorate or illustrate. Include your name, grade, address, phone, school, and the signature of a parent, guardian or teacher.
