The skill of the week this week is to remain in your assigned area throughout the day. This looks like getting to your scheduled class, walking with your classmates to lunch and waiting to be dismissed out of door #2 for recess. When you are in your assigned area, you are a safe, responsible Irving student.
If you are interested in being a Summer Reading Volunteer at the Public Library, you can pick up the application from Mrs. Cejda in the library.
All Irving Library books are due back May 10.
Attention students interested in running Cross Country for Lincoln High. Coach Rettig will meet incoming freshmen interested in running for Lincoln High in the fall next Thursday, May 10 in the media Center at 3:10.
Attention talent show participants:
Reminder: There is a mandatory run though after school next Wednesday May 9th. Please be in the auditorium by 3:15. We have quite a bit to get done!
Attention Talent Show Participants:
Please get on to the Talent Show Google Classroom and take the very important brief survey Mrs. Holloway has posted. The survey must be completed by the end of the day tomorrow.
Plan to attend the last Chimney Swift Club meeting for the school year. We will meet this Thursday in room 114.
Good luck to our Irving archers this week as they go down to Louisville, Kentucky to compete at the National Archery tournament and 3 D.I.B.O!
Mrs. Paulson was nominated for a staff like by Kayleigh Bennett because she makes class so much fun. Mr. Wagner was nominated by Summer Knutson because every time I’m in the hallways he is very nice, and I like how he smiles all the time. Mrs. Pieper was nominated by Hope Perdew because she always plays good music and greets us at the door. She’s also very kind. Mr. Irvin was nominated by Julia Holt because he’s helped me learn the flute better than I could’ve every taught myself.
