The skill of the week is How to Apologize.

 

Today is a PLC Day.  Students will be dismissed at 1:40 pm.

 

This is Red Ribbon Week – Oct 29 – Nov 2.  The daily themes for this week are:

Tues.   Drugs have no character. Wear your favorite cartoon/TV/movie character, superhero, or Meme

Wednesday      Life is a Holiday when you are drug free.  Wear a holiday outfit.

Thursday                      Lei off drugs.  Wear floral or Hawaiian gear.

Friday                          Drugs are wacky!  Stay drug free!  Wacky hair or hats, wacky outfits, wacky socks, mismatched shoes.

Arts & Humanities Open House

Interested in a unique and challenging high school experience?  Arts & Humanities invites you to come to their Open House on Thursday, November 8 from 6-7 p.m.  Meet teachers and students, take a tour, and ask questions.  Visiting is a great opportunity to see in-depth everything Arts & Humanities has to offer you.   Please call Bobbi at 402-436-1785 with any questions.

SFP Open House

Are you or someone you know interested in attending Science Focus Program?  The Science Focus Program Open House/Informational Night for prospective students will be held on Wednesday Nov. 7th in the lower level of Camelot Commons at the Lincoln Children’s Zoo:

  • First session 6:00-7:00 PM
  • Second session 7:00-8:00 PM

Any 8th grader interested in having a READ poster made can pick up an application from their English teacher or the library.  Applications are due back to Mrs. Cejda by Tuesday Nov. 20.

 

Irving Ambassadors will be meeting on Tuesday, October 30 in the cafeteria from 1:45 – 3:00. Please be sure to bring a coat or a sweatshirt as part of our meeting time will be spent outside.

 

Students, the weather is changing and recess will be outside most of the time. Please be sure to wear weather appropriate clothing to school. This means, sweatshirts, coats, long pants, hats and mittens are great items to bring to school when it’s cold outside!
