Any 8th grader interested in having a READ poster made can pick up an application from their English teacher or the library. Applications are due back to Mrs. Cejda by Tuesday Nov. 20.
Students – please check your school email. The library has sent out overdue notices. Mrs. Cejda will be very thankful to get all the overdue books back.
Irving Recreation Center will be closed on Monday, November 12 – Veterans Day (City Holiday). School is in session this day. Please make arrangements to pick up your student at dismissal at time.
It is School Psychologist Awareness Week, and your school psychologist, Mrs. Engle will be collecting books for the LPS School Psychologist Book Drive! Please bring your new and gently used books to school and drop them off with Mrs. Engle, in room 106, anytime next week! The books will be distributed to families being served through the Lincoln Public Schools Early Childhood Program. Books should be for infants and children through age 5 and be in good condition. ***Side note: Students who turn in books to Mrs. Engle can earn 15 minutes of volunteer time, per book, for ICOR.
Come join Irving Circle of Friends at Irvingdale Park for Kona Ice on Wednesday, Nov. 14th after school for some frozen treats. Everyone who wants Kona Ice must pay for their treats. The Kona Ice costs are $3, $4, or $5. The Kona Ice truck will be at Irvingdale Park until 3:45 pm.
