The skill of the week is to practice kindness. Bring your likes to lunch to purchase “Irving Shoutouts” to write a classmate, friend or teacher or positive note or thank you. Shout outs will be hung up in the hallway by the cafeteria so all Irving aardvarks will be able to see a lot of kindness in action!
Red Cross Cub members:
We will meet Tuesday night after school in the Counseling and then go to Irving’s Clothing Closet. It needs to be straightened up. See Mrs Krien or Mrs. Holbert if you do NOT plan to attend.
Introducing THE HOLIDAY CLOSET: Holidays can be stressful! Sometimes we can’t find the time or the funds to buy for those we love. If you find yourself in need of a gift for a loved one but are without the funds to omake it happen, please use jump code YKOZ and complete the short form. The form closes on Thursday evening, December 6. Again, that’s jump code YKOZ.
Student Council meets after school today in Mrs. Hoefs’ room! The meeting will start promptly at 3:10.
Intramural Drama, Speech and Debate is accepting registrations for all interested 6th, 7th and 8th grader students. A family information session will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Southeast High School in the auditorium. The LPS Oral Spelling Bee will be Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Culler Middle School. The Spelling Bee is open to students in grades 5-8. More information is available in the main office or from your English teacher. Online registration is also available.
