3/3/20

Hey Irving Aardvarks, have you ever been told to ‘build a bridge and get over it’? Now’s your chance! Join the Engineering Club at the Irving Rec Center. Design, build and test your own bridge with real engineer and former student, Rachel Wagner! (Yes, this is the daughter of our very own, Mr. Wagner) Starts Saturday, March 7th, contact the Rec Center for more information.

Attention students interested in participating in Track and Field this spring!  There is an information meeting on Thursday March 5 from 3:10-3:30.  If you have not played a sport at Irving this year, you need a red card filled out before track season starts.  These can be picked up from Ms. Mohlman or in the counseling center. Please plan to attend this meeting if you are planning to participate in Track and Field.  Questions, see Ms. Mohlman or Ms. Eastman.

The skill of the week this week is respecting others and ourselves!

There will be no after school club in the library on Thursday March 5th.

Congrats to Marko Khalimonchuk on being one of five LPS students to advance to the Nebraska state Geographic Bee competition. He will compete for the state title on March 27th.

Attention 8th grade Washington, DC trippers: There is a mandatory meeting Wednesday, March 4th right after school in Mr. Bayne’s room. Bring your cell phones.

Circle of Friends will not meet this Wednesday. Our next Circle of Friends meeting will be on Wednesday March 18th in room 205 from 3:10 – 4:00 pm.
