The skill of the week this week is to walk on the right side of the hallway during transition. When you walk on the right side of the hallway, you are being a safe, responsible and respectful student.

Are you interested in participating in the Science Fair? If so, the Science Fair club would be a great way to help you get started on your experiment. The deadline for registration is February 9th. Mrs. Hoefs was nominated for a Staff Like by Savannah Mohlman because when I needed help with math and she took the time after school to help me.  Mrs. Honerman was nominated by Alexia Stevens because she taught me how to play the xylophone, and she’s an amazing teacher.  Mr. Brown was nominated by Haylie Russell because he makes everyone feel welcome in his class.  Mr. Knight was nominated by Ryan Roberts because he always gives us time to do things and always takes charge and makes us understand things. Mr. Ziola was nominated by Trinity Hollins because he motivates me and I am very happy while in gym with an awesome teacher. Mrs. Mohlman was nominated by Reece Sadler because I am always learning new things in her class. Mrs. Ellenberger was nominated by Sequojah Oforah because she is a great person.  Ms. Carlson was nominated by Serenity because she is always in a good mood.  Mrs. Paulson was nominated by Avery Bridgford because she is a wonderful teacher when it comes to teaching in a fun and non-boring way.  Mrs. Schrick was nominated by Gracie Millo because she is an amazing reader and the best teacher.  Mrs. Bliss was nominated by Audrey Lewis because she is always kind, helpful, funny, smart, and the best teacher. In this club you will design, build, and test a bridge using engineering principles, the engineering design process, and special engineer’s notebooks! It is taught by a former Irving alum and “real life” engineering student Rachael Wagner. To sign up come down to the rec center before January 24th and get enrolled. This club will meet every Wednesday starting January 24th.
