There will be a follow up meeting for all 7th and 8th graders interested in Soccer today after school in Mr. Hammack’s room (Room 311).  All students interested in playing soccer should attend this meeting.

If you have an interest in clothing, being creative, working with your hands or helping others then you will want to join the Irving Sewing Club. Irving Sewing Club is open to all Irving students. Our first meeting will be Monday September 8th from 3:10-4:00 in the FCS classroom, room 019. If you have any questions see Ms. Lokie.

All morning choirs began this week.  The 6th grade group will meet today, Friday. All choir rehearsals will begin at 7:00 am and meet in the vocal music room on 3rd floor.  If you are interested in singing and haven’t signed up yet, please see Mr. Robb or Mrs. Hunt.

2.  So you know the results of your Composting efforts at breakfast and Lunch:

Instead of taking 20 bags of trash to the dumpster only 4-5 bags are going.  That’s a 75%

reduction in trash to the landfill.  Way to Go!!!!!!

 

Today, August 29, is Picture Day.

 

There is no school on Monday, September 1, 2014.

August 28, 2014

There will be a meeting this Thursday August 28th for any 7th and 8th grade Boys and Girls interested in playing Soccer at Irving after school in Mr. Hammack’s room, Room 311.

 

Any student interested in participating in a 6th, 7th, or 8th grade morning choir, please pick up a sign up form in the office or in the vocal music room (303).  All forms are due TODAY, August 28th.  Please see Mr. Robb or Mrs. Hunt if you have any questions.
